About IT Developer
Hi I am Encik Wan (or Mr. Wan or 温先生). The name is inspired by a famous blogger of Singapore, mrbrown. During weekdays, I am a generalist in a Java software development team. In weekends I will be ‘playing’ with my personal projects.
Professionally I am a Java technical architect for financial institutions and finance software vendors of various sizes in Malaysia/Singapore. For the past 10 years, I have done server and client side programming using Java EE, JQuery and open source software. Most of my commercial experience is in the areas related to equity, fund, technical analysis and pension system.
In the area of investment, I am not a gold bug despite of my tweets. I am a private investor. My main investment strategies are macro strategy and global/sector rotation strategy with technical analysis as timing tool. Instruments of my choice are funds(abundant in my country) and ETF.
For fun, I like to cook and travel.
