Tun Dr. Mahathir, congratulations on being a ‘millionaire’ in blogsphere. Without doubt, it is an impressive achievement. While thinking of how to improve your blog and attracting more readers, your readers (future and present), e.g. broadband users in Malaysia, are facing two major issues
- Your future readers may not have access to broadband service because there is no broadband service provider in their areas or there is insufficient capacity to support extra broadband users.
- Broadband users in Malaysia suffer from slow browsing speed during nighttime for local and overseas sites.
For the first issue, the present Malaysia government is going to spend billions to upgrade broadband infrastructure in Malaysia. Can you guide us how to make sure this money is well spent?
Since most of your readers are from Malaysia and your blog is hosted by Google in California, USA, your present readers may not able to browse your blog during nighttime. The issue is insufficient bandwidth, i.e. Internet congestion during nighttime even for local traffic. Most of broadband service providers blame the slow browsing speed on too many users or some users are using too much bandwidth. It seems logical at the surface. Isn’t it one of the responsibilities of broadband service providers to provide reasonable service even for international traffic? What should broadband users do to get reasonable broadband service? How can MCMC help?
Tun Dr. Mahathir, please consider helping your readers, e.g. broadband users in Malaysia while enjoying your ‘first million’
